THE NEW IPAD

so today apple annouced the new ipad2 which tbh was  a minor update with a few major upgrades



here are the specs


a black and white ipad with front and rear facing cameras.
the same battery life as the ipad1 which is ten hours and one month stand-by
 33 percent thinner than its predecessor, at a mind-melting 8.8mm, and a little lighter at just over 600g
capable of doing face time with  ipad to ipad mac to ipad and ipad to iphone and ipod touch  photo booth comes preloaded it on and u will be able to buy garage band and imovie from the app store for the ipad  it come to the us  on Friday the 11 and 26 countries on the 25 of march

i wounder if this will get over heating problems like the first one was having when it came out?

i'll stick with my netvertable thanks... if i'm gonna pay $550-$850 for something i'd rather it run a full os and not a mobile one!

Bonz is right... My android phone handles my "mobile" necessities quite well.... and my laptop (freakin' powerful!) handles the "at-home" stuff well too....
The Ipad falls somewhere in between so I personally find it as a waste of money! :victory:

nice to see another android user:)... and ya my netvertibal has 3g and i put a 750gb hd into it.. if i ever need more media on the go i should be shot =) sure i don't have 10hour battery life but 6 is more then i've ever really needed

The only way i would get one is for mobile internet, internet on a phone just isnt the same. I don't prefer APPLE products, however they do have a descent look to them. eventually phones will have full operating systems as people move forward with technology. I only have a net book because I got it for $100 and needed a cheap laptop at the time. If i was to find an ipad for around $100 i would get it. just because of the touch screen.

Here is a GREAT I video that i recommend everyone watching, it is just for comedy and doesnt have much to do with Apple.
