Ram gets extremely hot

Ok so I'm trying to fix my xbox 360 and I found out that one of the ram chips gets up to 70 degrees Celsius.  I tried reflowing it but it doesn't get the job done, do i have to do a reball or replace that ram? The error i get is 0110; 3 tests rings.

i think you should try replacing them to see if that works or buy a small heat sync for it

It's the one under the gpu heatsink. So the heat sink would have to be thin making it useless

its a 0110 error which means cold solder joint. easy fix. reflow with a bit of flux and heatgun.

put a little arctic silver on a washer and then put the washer on top of the chip between the chip and the GPU heatsink and that will transfer the heat from the chip to the heatsink...
