Psp usb question!

Oh my  :censored: god! Okay so i just started modding psps again. I went to update something and pluged in my usb and it says please wait i tried using different usb cables duo cards blah blah blah blah didn't work. I came to the conclusion that my usb fuse was blown can someone upload a picture of where it is or any sugestions of what else it could be?

what mods have you done?  is it a fat or a slim?  try disabling USB charging if it a slim

I haven't done much just put CFW on..its a slim and I did that it didnt work..

haha i didnt notice that this was in the slim section..

disable usb charging, in the recovery menu. this may be the issue that you are having. Make sure that you dont mess with usb settings other than that. have the usb set to memstick...
i would walk you thru this, however i dont have a slim at the moment... only a phat.

Just putting this out there, but there's a chance your USB cable is shot, or that one of the two receiving ports are shot, either on your PC or on your PSP.

If your first thought is, "But it was working when I put the CFW onto the PSP, so that's not it", test it! Things do break, simple stupid things like USB ports and cords break most often after they were working. Thus, why they don't work anymore.

Try different cables and different computers, and I agree with ^^^. Reflash your PSP to OFW and test it. If it's good, then your cable and ports are okay, you just botched the CFW installation, so then you're looking at figuring out why it's botching.

Process of elimination is key.

I reflashed but it still did't work..what ever ill just throw this one in the basement and go buy another lol
