What model of PSP do you have? if it's anything but a 1000 model then it's a bit trickier then just soldering a new LED on.

But you can just google it. Although most sites just say to try AcidMod's... but i'll find one for you.

There you go...

for psp 1000:                  https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,27375.0.html

for psp 2000/3000:         https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,13495.0.html (best i could find)

for psp GO:                     None... sorry man.

Hope this helped a little.

good post? bad post?

You have to solder a new led on. The led on the board has three leads, for two different colors. You will be soldering on either one, or two leds. You of course have to remove the led before you can solder on new ones... Each time i've done it, i've just grabbed it with needle nose pliers and pulled off. However, this may tear the pads up. Heat the led up with your soldering iron and slide it off. I suggest that you solder the led to some wire first, then to the leads on the board, it's easier for your first swap. Good luck!!
