Ken Levine spilled the beans on Irrational's NGP project at Sony's presser, though he stopped short of going into any detail.

At Sony's presser, CEO Jack Tretton showcased the 24-inch PlayStation-branded 3D display, whose tech allows two players to view the entire screen when playing cooperatively in the same room. Comes bundled with glasses, an HDMI cable, and a copy of Resistance 3. Will retail for $499 and is available this Fall.

Sony's Kazuo Hirai made it official: the NGP's official name is "PlayStation Vita." It'll be available in both 3G and WiFi versions, and Sony is parterning with AT&T for service in the US. Pricing info is TBD, and ditto with carriers in other markets.
