write your report on what the teacher presents... their opinions are your opinions works %100 of the time in getting good grades.
when you finish school you can then form opinions of your own. 
True true it can get you good grades but agreeing completely with other peoples points of view without having your own points of view makes for a weak mind. Once your finished school your exposed to everything in the world more so because your out of school.
And if you have no basis for your beliefs and what you trust in then you'll end up becoming tainted with all the wrong things and ideologies that get thrown at you the moment you walk out the door.
Like my AWESOME English teacher Mr.Shaw said... "High school is full of lies, the idea that you can just redo a grade without consequence is a lie, and if you walk out those doors and go into the real world without a sense of what YOU believe to be right or wrong. You'll be eaten alive."
It took me a while to fully understand what he meant by that, but i eventually got it.
