PulseVU2 wierd issue on ps3
« on: September 27, 2011, 11:43:35 AM »
Havent been on here in along time

I have looked for answer and really no one can help me on this, its kind of wierd

I searched on this forum and looked through many threads but no one can give me an answer.

I have wired my pulseVU2 properly with the momentary push switch connected on the +pad and the SW pad, from the SW i connected a 10kOhm resister to the -pad on the PulseVU2.

As indicated on this photo

I have the OP wired to a bipolor slide switch. Its set on off for now so i can go through the fade modes and dimmer.

And connected two 5mm White LED with a 150Ohm resister and connected + end to the ps3 mobo and the - end to the VU on the pulse2 chip.

My forward voltage is 5v on the Ps3 board. Using the powersupply connection on the mobo.

When i turn on the ps3 and wait for the Pulse2 i see a dime light of my test LED but it quickly fades out.

When i hold the momentary push switch the LED begin to fade in mode 1, But when i release it stops.

Do i have the momentary push switch polarity backwards?

...emo freak out! >.< ........

random is fun
