Hi everyone:
I do a lot of DS refurb's, and started doing a few small mobo repairs. F1, f2 fuse replacements, transformer replacements, inductors etc. I just completed a gba slot swap on a known good mobo. The new GBA slot is brand new from DX. Everything soldered up pretty but when turned on, and a game inserted, it didn't recognize there was a game in the slot.
I scoped all the pins, and have power at all pins but the three ground pins. Tested everything back to the board for resistance and ensured everything was soldered tight to the board. Does anyone know if there is a seperate circuit in there somewhere that I'm missing that picks up if there is a game in the slot or not?
