Need 360 case cut-out ideas...

Ok guys so I have a couple cases laying around that I've been wanting to cut some windows in, so I figured I'd let you guys throw me some ideas out. I'm interested in hearing any and all suggestions

Theres so many window mods you can do but the BEST suggestion i can give is get a scroll saw. These things are beast and will put your dremel to freakin shame. Trust me.

frosted plexiglass design + LEDs. I mean you can't go wrong with that.

Yes take crazy-modder's advice scroll saws help cutting so much detail quickly.

What do you mean by frosted plexi fookz?

Also I looked up what exactly a scroll saw was and how it worked on youtube and thinking that would be quite the investment. It would help so much with lettering and what not in designs.

Plexiglass, but its translucent, not fully see-through. LEDs have a nice effect with it.

You know instead of buying translucent plexi I could just sand down my current plexi with very fine sand paper to give it that smoked look? :P

that mixes it between transparent and translucent after you wipe the sandpaper dust off.

it doesn't achieve full effect but idk whatever look you want the xbox to have lol man just play around with different things have fun with it.

Actually its done all with  one mirror  leds are in front of the mirror

I don't know how it'd only work with 1 mirror though, like the glass you look through would almost have to be a 2 way mirror. If there was only one then there'd only be 1 reflection of an LED, with a 2 way you'd get repetitive reflections causing it to look distant or whatever you want to call it.

your totally right. what i think the did was they bought a standard mirror and placed that overtop of the mobo. they then added a One way mirrored window (or a sheet of window tint?) to the cut out part of the case with the see through part facing outwards so we can see through (Thats what gives it the "infinite" effect.)

hope it helps but thats my take on it. they just wired leds on the underside of the "one way mirrored plexiglass" then 1/2" or whatever father ahead they mounted a mirror.

thanks thats very helpful and cleared things up , I  thought it was just 1 mirror by the way the guy made it look first time . thats a good tut also
