need help with some ideas before i start modding

i've seen so many mods on youtube and google.But im trying to go for hardware mods and maybe some looks.
like disk drive cover,case,fans,cooling.i know i heard about people who modded there hhd with windows and lights or even that little screen.
i'm basically trying to upgrade the xbox 360 and also make it jaw dropping at the same time.
please don't ask my budget because i will be just getting back to work in maybe two weeks.plus i only get paid every two weeks.
i want to get a list and learn aboutt the stuff  ahead of time. and gather ideas awhile to.
so please show me some ideas and give me some advice on how to make it look crazy and eye popping and even jaw dropping.

so it depends on what you have in mind  any themes in mind ? whats your favorite game you can use as a theme for it . any colors in mind ect . can you jtag ?

hm i think so but idk what would go good with green XD.yea painting it may make it look cool.
but you know about any things i can do with the hhd?

for th hdd you can cut out a window and put green lights in it and paint it to match the case

and theres a lot you can do for green. buy green fans  green lights paint the case a green color or something that looks like it matches
