thats right ladies and gents sony brought out a new PSP labeled as PSP- E1000.  The PSPE-1000 will lack  a couple  features such as  the wifi module as to why sony hasn't stated why.  its also Coming out with a updated look from the PSP 3000. also its only so far announced for the UK.The price for the uk unit is priced to be 99 euros. Here are the specs below

im not sure what the reasoning behind taking the time to develop it even was, without wifi and it appears to have a touch sensitive strip at the bottom, sales might not be too great, converting to my currency, its $140 CAN without taxes applied, seems to cost more than its actually worth.

seeing what it looks like and all, assuming its possible, it could bring up some interesting mods.

the WiFi module in the 3000 was built into the motherboard and so without it would not create any more space, just a diffrent motherboard layout.

I know why this has happened, In light of the coming PSVita Sony realised they had a lot of left over parts (no wifi modules though) so they thought "lets just bundle them up into some sort of new PSP thing to sell to all them suckas in the UK!" and came up with this nice looking POS.

Nice looking psp. I'm loving the L and R on it. Its a dark black might be really good for modding. hmmm I dont know why but I think I could make a PSvita from this. Wish me luck people.

the #2 thing i use my psp for is the wifi so i can check my email and stuff when im away from the computer, but i bet the hardware in that thing isnt a lot better than the 1000 or maybe the 3000.

but i saw the pic of the umd cover open, the WHOLE back panel? IMO that screams break me.

if i had one i might only use it for music, unless they can have some sort of CFW put on them.

You can put CFW on it as well when it got announced to the public and they had the hands on experience there were two hackers hacking it putting CFW on it right at he Sony convention.lol

I  kind of like it , Looks steath looking, also i would tint the screen so  it would look more stealth looking black the whole thing out and use bright white leds , kind you  gotta wear a welding helmet to see them

EDIT: or I  would make it with blue or green led like the light saber in star wars, darth vader style
