ok but when u jail break or hack the ps3 and stay on the old firmware do u sill have psn?

I believe so that you  still can have psn and you have to have, 3.55 firmware to jailbreak it if you got 3.60 it cant be done  3.56 i think that isnt possible either

are you sure?  I never heard of  PSN banning ,

I still have a have a 3.55 ps3, just haven't had the spare time to fix the blu-ray drive :D

or if you want to hack it easy, you could buy a cobra usb (they may have cracked it for free but I haven't checked in  a while)

Dunno when I thought I had fixed it I put a disk in then kinda would only let it in half way then I took it out and it slammed its doors on me as if it had a disk in it.

I got a little angry...
