Nevbox's New Computer Plan

OK spent most of the weekend trawling through newegg.com and I have come up  with my 1st Draft of my new Computer, I also plan (maybe this week) to make a similar PC but with a AMD CPU and a different brand of motherboard and then see which is better, Intel is more expensive and faster,but some of the newer gen AMD are catching up. So I am interesting in finding the best for your money!

The way i think of a PC build is like a sports team, if you have one amazing player that you spend all your money on and the rest are terrible, the team will be terrible, but if you buy all good players the team will be good.

What im saying is like, don't go for an i7 then a crud GPU, go for an i3 and a good GPU, also try and get a solid state drive and HDD and use the solid state for programs and your OS, and the HDD for movies and music.

I had a £400 spec PC somewhere, i'll try and find the parts

i kept the psu (750W) disk drive and case from an older build.

I will be keeping the old one for work (maybe steal the Fan for the CPU)  and don't get your new CPU yet, You may as well wait for the new Ivy bridge CPU which would still be supported by your motherboard!

I will get a Sandybridge then upgrade later on I have decided.

I quite like that memory and that GPU would fit nicely into my budget. ( though it doesn't have crossfire support which I kind of want.)

Hello, just letting you know I have the same G.SKILL Ripjaws Ram (except the 16GB kit) and have had no problems with it. So I would recommend it.

Also don't know if you know this but a lot of motherboards have a datasheet online that tells what RAM they have tested. Processors as well.
