what decks and a mixer do you have ? and im not being harsh mate but this isnt a very good mix you need to learn how to bpm mix what music genre to pic i.e dirty dutch house , electro house as in this is my kind of choice of house when im djing Swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party - Antidote (Original Mix)

two numark v 7's and a cheap numark m3. I see, what do you mean by the genre, it seemed the same to me, just house.

hey bozoy your selection is good you don't have to worry about it if you are mixing the same genre.


Play with songs with the same BPM to get the hang of beat mixing.

Try mixing some dubstep instead to help with blend timing-- have fun with it just go crazy!






edit: when you really want to get into DJing try to borrow some friends' equipment or go to the store with a laptop and ask the clerk if you could try some equipment out before you buy anything lol.


I'm running with two Pioneer CDJ 900's, a DIY built analog mixer, and a Korg Kaoss Pad sampler(its a POS).

Later when I get money Im buying a macbook and a monome for a sampler&mixer and I'm putting all my music on there.


find what equipment works well with you! like a musical instrument fitted to match your style.
