Did you run 12 volts right to the main motherboard? also the PS3 works on the same bases as a ATX power supply . meaning just like you bridged the power supply so the ATX power supply works buy just turning it on. So I am sure if you bridged the power supply so you have 12volts and 5volts working, and you wired the 12 volts to the motherboard it should work. Not real positvie about it, but it should work, unless I am missing something.
PS3 mobo's have 12v in and out. You might need to run the out to the wire that is bridged. Unbridge first.
the 2 prongs coming off mobo into power supply are 12v in and 12 v out. When I get a chance I'll re read this thread and try to figure this one out.
i am not Positive and Maybe 1TONpete can answer this but isnt there a 3.3 volts that you need to power on the system? as a PC needs a load to start the power supply I beleive that the PS3 needs to reconize the 3.3v to power the console on.
