Is this a Good programmer?

so found this pickit on ebay, and im wanting to know if its a good programmer. Seen some stuff on the pickit 2 and people seem to like it. Basically I wanna program onto 12f683 chips and im wanting to know if i need anything else If i was to buy this. i'm guessing Ill need the software

its a pickit 2 it will do anything you need. Its slightly more advanced than what is needed for rapid fire.

It depends on how far he goes with that lol. I eventually found myself needing the pickit 3. But that is because I am myself lol.

Pickit 2 will work perfectly for you. It is very easy to use.
