This has been my night project for the past couple weeks off and on.
This is my friends old house (1753) he wants to try to make it livable after a long time of neglect.
It needed insulation , wiring , plumbing, everything.
He's a gamer. Likes FPS. He works hard and that's how he likes to spend down time. He has some real nice av equipment, So we decided to flush mount his flat screen and make a home run center for his av stuff. All the wires are ran through the wall and He purchased special cover plates for wall outlet boxes. These cover plates are designed to fish av wires through them.
All av is either hdmi or digital optical.
So onto the pics. I just finished doing the first coat on the taping.
Xbox 360 wires.
TV connection. 1 hdmi for cable box and 1 for xbox. optical out to surround sound.
center channel hooked up so we could have tunes from my pandora.
Big plans for the av shelf. that will be were my modding skills come into play. There is going to be some cool plexi work and some led stuff.
