Where does the disc go?  It looks like it might be a flip top like the PS1

I have to agree with Rodent. Sony seems to really be stepping up the quality of their consoles as well as the looks. (Still waiting for the day they decide to back light their controller buttons)

Hopefully soon Sony will see the retail potential of offering more durable and cooler looking products.

So any major hardware changes on the inside?

Is this using the 22/28nm chips for the Cell and RSX?

I still think its time for a next gen console though. I mean the PS3 is 2006 hardware and the fps drops on games like skyrim are waay too much.

I prefer this design to the old slim, but am I the only one who thinks the original phatty had the best aesthetics?
I've always disliked the way sony seems to make its consoles lopsided, give meh that symmetry plz.

Bring on the next gen consoles!! none of this wii u, or ps3/xbox rehashing.

On to a more serious note, the fact that sony is bringing this out now makes me think their ps4 isn't on the near horizon. ( :,( I wanted a late 2013 release).
