PSIO - The worlds first Sony PlayStation 1 SD and HDD cartridge
« on: November 29, 2012, 11:01:26 AM »

PSIO (pronounced 'sigh-oh' | PlayStation Input Output) is essentially a cartridge that will plug into the back of a PlayStation 1 console.

It will allow you to then simply boot any game directly off an SD card, or HDD on the actual PlayStation 1 console itself.

As soon as the prototype has been completed, expect photos, videos and tons of information about PSIO to be shown right here on the homepage.

If you want PSIO to be finished quicker, please show your support by sending us a donation.

For now, if you are confused and or wish to find more information regarding PSIO, please very carefully read the FAQ section.

It is also a good idea to check out the previous news history. Images of the PSIO alpha (proof of concept) prototype can be found in there.

All the componenets needed to build the (first version) prototype have been ordered. We are so close to finishing the prototype!

I want to give a personal thanks to the people who donated and supported PSIO. You guys are legends, and without your support, none of this would have been possible.
