Lipo battery pack mod

I am attempting to build a dual lipo 500 mah each battery pack . Works with the pnc cable. They will be on a V switch , So when charging you can switch batteries while playing.
I came up with this while taking apart a Chinese PS3 controller and found the perfect size and shape lipo pack inside.
With all the mods and leds etc put on xbox controllers some extra play time would be nice.

I know this is old but I am curious to know if this mod worked or not. I have some PS 3 battery pack laying around and would love to try this out. Searching around I see a lot of lipo mods going on but no finish answer whether or not it is a success or failed.
