Touch Sensing Controller(Help)
« on: April 01, 2013, 09:42:05 PM »
I'm wanting to create a modded controller that uses touch sensors as buttons. I was thinking of using a sensor like the ones found in the 360's eject button. Anyone know how they work or where a I can find some? Basically want a simple touch sensor that can easily be wired as a momentary switch.

Google Touch IC or Touch Sensors, there are loads of those things around in dedicated packages, as well as ways to make them with other various Logic ICs and some external components.

You'll find that striking a balance between sensitivity, speed and ease of build the more fun part of that project though. ;)
