MIG-15 flight suit helmet modded for xbox live

Hello all! I just recently did a mod for a xbox live headset. I had this old Chinese MIG-15 Flight suit helmet that I decided to put a xbox live headset into.


this is what it looked like when I got it.






I bought two of these cheap headsets off ebay that way if i messed up one I would have another to work with.



this is what it looks like now.





It was pretty easy minus running the wires through the helmet.

and here are a few of my modded xbox's



the one on the right has color changing LED's



and this is one im still in the process of modding.

well it may not be from a MIG then..I bought it off ebay so who knows what its from lol the auction title said MIG though

no no it is a mig-15 headset used back in the 1970's however I feel its  a reproduction non the less I want it my buddies from the airport would love it

ah ok gotcha..yeah it looks brand new so im sure its a reproduction. lol not sure if i could part with it but if you want to do one yourself i can help out with it. It was extremely easy to do i believe the headset was about 15.00 on ebay and then i bought a cheap XBL headset for like 5.00 on Ebay. If I can find a decently priced turtle beach headset im going to take it apart and put that in it for better sound.

I may have to. however did it come with two jacks? one large and one 5/8?

the helmet? or the xbl headset that i put in it? the helmet had some type of wire that something plugs into it.. the plug has like 5 prongs on the inside of it...and the xbl headset is just the 3.5mm jack (i think thats the size)

yeah not sure if you would want to use it in a plane now. the headset speakers i put in it arent the greatest lol. thats why im looking for a cheap turtle beach headset
