Slim 12 Volt Fan mod

Introduction
Modify your Stock slim Fan to 12 volts with no soldering at all


Parts Needed

• Slim Xbox 360
• Slim Unlock tools If neccesary

Tools Needed

• Electrical Tape
• Small Pic Tool or Small Screwdriver

Notes:
Hardest thing is about this is taking the Xbox 360 slim apart

 
Step By Step Tutorial
1- Remove case of the xbox 360
2- Remove DVD drive and Harddrive holder inside the console
3- Unplug the fan
4 -Unhook the small tab holding the blue wire out of the white holder
5- Fold the wire back and tap it to the rest of the wires
6- Reason for doing this incase you decide you want to change it back to normal fan speed
7- Tape the wire back to the other wires covering the metal end of the wire so it doen't short out on anythign else in the console
8- plug the fan wires back in to the console
9 -test buy powering it up
10- reassemble the console and you have fully succeded in a simple 12volt fan mod with no soldering required

Just did this mod, not as loud as the phat consoles. It is loud, but Kool Temps
