i did a booboo lol corrupt hdd

ok guys well i tried the new hotswap method to softmod this xbox
i used xboxhdm and ndure 3.1
i made the files with ndure etc i did a successful hotswap etc i ran the ndure script backed up my c: then ran the script to install ndure for unleashx i think
well it gave me an error while installing ndure no biggie i restored my c: etc xbox booted fine
so i did it again(biggest mistake ever) gave me the same error etc so once again i restored my c: using ndure as before
but once i tried to boot the xbox i get an error 16 after some research it means the c: was corrupt
i tried to rebuild using slayers evox disk with stock c: files using hddmaker i rebuilt the c: using those stock c: files from the disc still kicking error 16
am i totally screwed ?

Told you to  do more research before you went any futher...   :confused: :fear: :nono:

the software i used didnt output certain files thats why it half installed no biggie ima gonna build a eeprom reader and try n fix it

if you would of listened and dd what i mentioned to you, you would of been fine ....lol   if you need help building a eeprom reader let me know .

here to help you out i got this from llamma.com worked great for me when i built mine.



I do not like sending members to other sites , but this is very easy and self explanatory  if i had time i make a tutorial for Acidmods with little better pics

thanks will see if i have time today to guy buy the parts and the shak and yes i did listen to you and read things over and over again but the software i was using wasnt out putting certain files thats why i had half a mod etc
bad day i guess but will get this up and running

Idk understand what files you were trying to load? you should of been able to install mem card for controller also i think when i did mine I made a usb cable to hold a flash drive i will have to check then just loaded the files i needed for the softmod, its been years since i did this. and using splinter cell i had to create a profile for linux i believe. damn so long ago i forgot ....lol

if you can be a bud and see what files you got inside the c: im trying to see if i can rebuild my hd
or does anyone have a back up of there c: off the xbox?
