How Do I Get DVD Info Using Maximus 360 Lizard?

i got an xbox 360 slim. i want to install the xkey. i read that to do so, i first need to use Maximus 360 Lizard to get my DVD drive info. how do i use this and is it expensive to do?

i found out that i got a 0401 drive. so i think i need a USB Pro v1, ck3i and maybe Molex. so, these are extraction tools. where can i buy them used since i'll only need them one time to extract dvd drive key info?

I Think that drive can be done with a few "at home" parts... Let Rodent come back and confirm that info is correct and I will point you to a few tutorials that may prevent you from having to purchase anything.

here is the thing you need to take a pic of the CB on the bottom  , you can download Jungleflasher and you can do it from your pc or from your maximus as king mike shows in the video he posted

hey, rodent.. i took pics of the dvd drive stickers with its info.. is this what u meant by taking a pic of the "CB"?

not a very good scan but in he white square of the chip and underline in red there is a 03 or 05 on the drive 

you will need a probe for 03 and have to cut and resolder the trace
05 you will have to use the kamiKaze windbond templete to drill a hole   not as easy as it looks  the one is pic is 05 that would have to be drilled

hey rodent.. wow, this is sounding more  ocmplicated and risky. i think its better to just send my xbox to a modding shop like modchipsdirect or modchipcentral to have them extract the key and install the xkey for me.
