« on: January 16, 2014, 07:15:33 AM »
hi guys gizmo sent me a link to a promising project but ive been out of the XB scene for awhile
need helping figuring this out
dont fully understand how i can mount an extra nand etc
here is the site
http://luniqous.net/nandwich-pic-360

and on the PNP collector does it go to the rgh nand or the stock nand?
or if someone can draw out a better schematic that would be great

dont think there is a need for a crystal as this aint a glitch chip etc its just a dual nand mod
inside the tutorial where it has the no cut trace method it says connect the collector of the pnp trans to pin 9 on the nand but i dont understand if you attach it to the nand lets say on the pcb  i wanna do or you connect it to the nand on the xbox itself

No i was just commenting that you can hear the crystal for the corona in the video alot of people say you can not hear it and sometimes you do not hear it but you can hear it screaming in the video you linked to that is all  just so people will know what it sounds like when they do a corona.

You can tie pin 2,3, and 4 on the pic chip together as it all pulls high.

The collector of the pnp transistor connects to the rgh nand.

You can eliminate that pfet as most chips now uses the same chip as the tx coolrunner, even the clones. they all have the same cr-en point. This should cut cost down some.

You can also ground out pin 12 of the pic chip as the debug can be modded on all glitch chips anyway.

The 2 led pins needs to have some pads for the resistor.

When i do try this out, i will be using the squirt secondary nand pcb as it has all the pinouts already.

Will update/edit as i am waiting on some answer from the author.

Here is a picture schematic of my revised. Paint for the win!!!

thank you sir will finish this when i can need to back up all my stuff  got 2 blue screens of death today think my hdd is going out
oh beer how i hate to love you

last question does the 3.3v from the emitter of the pnp tie into the 3.3v or does it need its own 3.3v from a diff source?

I Would Connect It To Its Own 3.3V.

seems like alot of work to build a dual nand when you the 360 squirt is just the nand it self.  and can be used with just a coolrunner. or other type of mod chip ....  might want to check in to it jut building the nand it self.  not that this isnt great . Just would save  you some time.

I Would Leave Out The Nand And  Nand Breakout Pins. Saves Time And Money If You Use Just The Pic Chip And Components(rResistor,Transistor,Etc).
Edit: My Bad 3d0, The Collector Goes The Retail Nand,
