Hello,
an other one...
Values of these three capacitors? Are they critical?

I haven't traced that board out, but it looks like they might be on the lines going the EXT port there, the one that is part of the headset connector. One side of each is going to ground, so they are just decoupling. If you don't use the EXT port, or only use if for charging with a Station/Dock, then it'll probably be fine with them missing.

Hello,
So I got a functional JDM-030 board on which I removed these three components. https://imgur.com/a/avku9zp
I wanted to measure them because I need it. For the capacitor I got 121.5 nF. But for the resistors I don't get any value. My multimeter works properly because I checked it on a 100k resistor and it shows the correct value. But on these two resistors I don't get any value. What does that mean?

Means they were possibly broken on removal, or they might not be Resistors. Only have one -030 here to check, and it already has them removed. Couldn't even guess when that was done, or why I did it, so I might have posted that info around here, somewhere.

What else could it be if not resistors?

Caps would be the best guess if they have one side going to ground and measure open with the meter when removed. Possibly ESD protection, but they are typically in a little different package.

Yes, I have removed the already to measure them but as I said I don't get any value. I also don't get any value for capacitance. Maybe I really damaged them while removing but I don't know how. The capacitor works properly and both resistors are damaged. Anyway thanks for your input.

You said they didn't measure any Resistance, didn't specify any other testing.

Hello,
But for the resistors I don't get any value. My multimeter works properly because I checked it on a 100k resistor and it shows the correct value. But on these two resistors I don't get any value. What does that mean?

Found another board here, and around 47pF is what they measure on each one. But, given where they are, I'd say they aren't Caps and are more likely MOVs, aka ESD protection, which is just going to measure open or some low capacitance value unless they are bad.

I tried to measure resistance and capacitance. For both I got open loop. I also tested for continuity and I also got OL. TVS diode means for me I will give up. Anyway thanks for your help!!!!

Does anybody have a pinout for this JDS-055 connector or know where this pin with the blue arrow should go? I stupidly ruined this connector a while ago but I learned a lot since then and I want to fix it up with USB C. I have no problem scrapping away the green coating to find a new spot to solder to but without the pin I am unsure where it leads, thanks for any info

5v, D-, D+, ID, GND

You're pretty much pointing to where it goes, nowhere, as it's not used. ;)

After posting this I kept searching around and thinking about it, and then I began to think that same thing. I assume if it went somewhere else it would have needed a via right? Thanks for the response
