JDM-011 PCB Connection Points. HELP!
« on: July 12, 2015, 08:22:44 PM »
Guys, sorry my bad english cause i'm Brazilian.
But, I trying to X/O mod and I saw this topis with PCB Scans here:

https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=43542.0

My PCB is JDM-011 Model. Like This:

My doubt is: on the first model (JDM-001) you just have to 1 Point to X Button and 1 Point to Circle Button.

And now on this JDM-011, the image shows 2 points to X and 2 points to CIRCLE! So, I tried to paint at Photoshop for you guys help me.
I will have to solder 3 wires to each button???????? I dont understand how...

ORANGE - CIRCLE BUTTON
BLUE - X BUTTON

Please help me!

They are both marked for convenience.  You only need to use one of the marked spots.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

He painted BLUE the X and painted ORANGE the Circle button, but its exactrly the contrary of PCB Scan shows...

If you read that description even they say that they do not know which way they go, I however do and have made mine correctly.

You can use any Ground spot for the other side of the new buttons.

No, it can be done one of 4 different ways, but that is one of them.

That style switch is fine to use, but it depends on which ones you have there exactly as they can be rated for a minimum of 100,000 cycles (times you can press them) up to 1,000,000 cycles.
