Jdm-040 not charging
« on: April 21, 2019, 07:46:05 AM »
Hi, I have this model that is not charging, only works with cable, the battery is dead. If I put a good battery it doesnt recognize it either, looks like the "IC" or something that connects the batery with the mainboard is not working.
Any tips? Sorry for my English

PS: the mainboard looks fine,

hi, newbie here.

I also got the charging problem with 040.
I've noticed that something looking like capacitor is shorted (it might be coil, though).

I've circled it on the schematics that someone provided in another thread:

damn.
what about three tiny ones near the flexible cable going to usb? the one in middle seems open, and other two are shorted I think.
perhaps the middle one should be shorted too?
assuming those are fuses.
