Hey guys, so I just got a few ps4 controllers and this one looks pretty nice.  I've changed the port and confirmed it is working, so it should be a board issue.

I've been going around looking for shorts on capacitors and such and tracked it down to possibly the top left, where these images are.  Turns out this little line of 4 are shorting, but I'm a little confused as to what they actually are.  I can't tell if they're capacitors, resistors or what.  Plus one of them seems to be blue 😱

Any ideas what they could be?  It's not blue on the pcb scans.

Ignore the triangle pads for now, I did that just to see if that was why it was shorting.  Turns out it isn't.

Resistors can be black or blue. Those are just a tuning network of Resistors and Inductors for the antenna.

I've never seen a blue one before.  Nice to know it's ok though.

Although if it's just for the antenna, then I've got no idea why it has no power then 🤔

Guess I'll shelve it for now, maybe use it as parts.  Thanks 😁
