Xbox One Elite 1 Controller Mic Not Working already changed headphone jack.

Hi, having a bit of trouble with an elite 1 controller i have changed out the headphone jack multiple times  you can hear everything clearly but it does not pic up the mic at all any ideas anyone ? It’s not the headset & I have checked the board and cant see anything burned out Any help would be appreciated very much. I have a box full of donor boards if anything is needed.
