Ripped 1708 Joystick Solder Pad
« on: December 28, 2020, 06:31:44 AM »
Hey guys,

I tried to replace the left joystick on my 1708 controller but I accidentially ripped off the middle one of the solder pads for the y-Axis potentiometer.

Someone mentioned this problem in a reddit post and he shared a link with a few pictures on imgur so I will include this link for you:

This is exactly how my solder point looks. Only this pad is missing and I checked the schematics on https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=43981.0 , but I don't know where I can solder a jumper wire to.

I hope some of you may have an idea how to fix this...

Thanks!

Solder a jumper wire from the lead there to TP63.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

Jumper the left one to the bottom one of the 3 on the left.  4 to 3
Center one goes to TP64. 5 to TP64
Jumper the Right one to the Top one of the 3 on the left.  6 to 1

Code: [Select]
1
2
3
   4  5  6
