Measure MCU TouchPad possible?

Hello everybody,

I have often read about dead MCU of TouchPads which is the main reason why TouchPads won't work anymore.
I've questioned me if it's possible to measure this issue before disassemble a whole controller to test spare parts.

Anybody got a clue or can help me pointing it out?

most of time its not touchpads deadm but mcu of dualshock dead inputs.
