XB1 S Power Board Swap to Series S Power Board?

So I managed to break the stuffing out of my USB connector, trying to swap to USB C.
Can I just use a Series Power Board for my XB1 SLIM controller?
I hate micro B and don't want to ruin another board.
I know the bumpers are different but I was thinking to get a new plastic piece.
