When I first started modding, I bought I think 10 amps...now they are sitting in a box....

Yeah but you can't do direct connect with a switch, can you? Sort of gets annoying when you're playing games while lights are flashing, doesn't it?

I barely play games on my psp anymore lol. I just use them to test mods and play music.

Lol. I usually just rip them apart now O_O, and occassionally I play games at night out of boredom... I just can't stand having leds flashing all the time. Oh well, thanks for the info. My soundboard might be dead already anyway due to overheating so yeah.

I have 2 Lm386s installed in 2 PSPs and they put out a lot of heat. Good thing I have a switch on them.

Lol but the thing is, I wired it wrong by accident which is why it started overheating... It ended up drawing so much power or something that everytime I turned on my board, the power led went out but the psp stayed on, lol.

I was trying to wire 2 for stereo once and I wired one wrong and the Lm386 started overheating too. I had electric tape around it so the tape started to smoke.

Do direct connect. Lots of people say it reacts better. Also, I was using a soundboard, and my led just exploded O_O

you can run into problems with direct...
and yeah but ive read that ppl blew thier speakers or leds

amp sometimes isnt as bright
its like dim..

what is better direct wiring or amp?
for sound sensitive

I don't think the speakers have enough volts to blow the LEDs and I been doing direct connection for all my PSPs and other people's PSP and they are working fine. One time, I did have one psp have a blown speaker fuse but i bridged it and it works fine now.

Wow that post was so messed up I had to read it several times to get it... Direct will probably not blow your leds, amp is actually brighter due to the fact that it's got that extra 5v, EVERYBODY says direct reacts better, and "pros" all use different ways. There's no right or wrong, just personal preference.

but i would have to say re doing the amp is better then doing direct or coming up wit a way to do direct but wit resistors and other stuff
i am doing both direct wit some surprises and lm386 or some other amp to re do the sound board well wish me luck it might take a long time

I have to use remotejoy lite to use my PSP until the screen arrive. My only problem is that it won't let me launch apps/games.

more like a black housing with red buttons etc...there is no point of taking away thewhole god of war psp just for the buttons etc when you can buy them seperratly
