ok, i need some help,
 how the hell do u get the slot to stay on with out sending ya self an email any one no some one plz tell me cause its doing my head in now


UPDATE 


ok, i found out how to do this its real easy only takes one wire and here is how u do it


fist u need to desolder the black wire from point b2 on the board u then take some wire solder one end to b2 and the other gos under the drive by the screw and solder it to the gold plate and thats it simple   here is a few pics incase u are stuck 





o and if u wanted to know the black wire u desolderd does nothink it just sits there after lol




after u done that will look like this

does it only come on on power up? or is it always on (even when the wii is off)

sweet, anyone wanna take a pic of where the gold part is in relation to where the b2 solder point is, i just wanna know for when I do this!

umm well its kinda hard to take a pic of it, but wen you take off the front cover look under the dvd tray to the right of a silver screw thats in the middle of the wii, thats the point, i think it just acts as a ground or something though (correct me if im wrong)

im not stuck, just never cracked open a wii before, what im looking for is someone to split a wii in half lay it directly on its side, (like a split apple) and circle the 2 different points of attention, (the hot spot and the ground)

That would be kind of annoying to have it on in standby mode, never knew that as i don't have my wiiconnect 24 on.

i did mine without using any soldering or anything, you just strip a little off the black wire, then take some coated copper wire, strip the ends, wrap one end around the stripped black wire, and put the other inside the wii, as long as it's touching any metal part on the disc drive, it will stay on

 :tup:yay i just did my mod yesterday and if youleave wiiconnect24 on it will stay on all day and night and that **** looks tight!
