Title: Registering PSP
Post by: bncplix on December 26, 2007, 01:13:04 AM
My psp is 3.40 OE, it registers fine on my ps3 (just cant use it because it needs to be updated)  My brother is at 3.52 M33-4, and it had an error recognizing, i updated it to 3.72 M33 and the same thing. The USB like cant read, though when i try on a pc it reads it right away. Is it possible its the firmware causing this? Or What could be?

Firmware most likely, but it may be because AFAIK you can only register one PSP at a time, but this shouldnt give you an error

it has to be the latest when the PS3's update came out, so really the latest, at the moment i think 3.72 is needed, but it may be 3.80.

I put 3.72 M33 on my brothers and it still couldnt recongnize :/ it cant be a usb problem as it works perfectly on the pc

its because you have a ta-082 mobo, to downgrade it had to corrupt key 5 to get onto 1.5 fw without bricking.... fix that key and itlll work.. www.google.com (http://www.google.com)
