Title: 8GB Memory Sticks and CFW!?
Post by: Ball_til_ya_fall on June 03, 2008, 07:23:15 PM: I have 3.90 m33-3 cfw on my psp.
I recently bought an 8gb memory stick pro duo off ebay (stupid i know) and i put it in and formatted, and it worked for like 2 minutes. But, some :censored: wouldn't open and then the PSP wouldn't read it all, it didn't recognize that there was a memory stick even inserted. So, I can't format again, not even through the PC (i've tried). I'm guessing the memory stick was fake, but idk.

So, I'm wondering if 8gb memory sticks even work with custom firmware???
Because I'm willing to go to the store and buy a legit one, but I want to make sure that they will even work. If any of you know of any good brands that will work with cfw please tell me.

yep they works but real ones are like $120 :fear:

Thats messed up. You can get a hard drive like 60 gig for that price lol. Why the hell are those tiny lil card to much!?

That's not true. You just have to use common sense and not buy any from Hong Kong or any seller that's selling them in bulk.
