well no it is not neccesarily fried... there is some way to bridge a fuse that will apparently fix this... try running a google search.

EDIT: What fuse are you talking about the backlight one?
EDIT2:also when the pandora is put in with the maging memory stick the memory stick light does not flash. I know they work cause i put them in a different psp and went how it should.

1.

I think he means the backlight fuse, its most likely to be one

Here it is:
(https://acidmods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.llamma.com%2FPSP%2Frepair%2Fimages%2FPSP_fuse%2FFd-Fuse.jpg&hash=567dc4bcf1aaef6ae6740c9104da0b1b48a0c8aa)

2. If that is the case, it could even be the powerfuse, but then again, the green power LED, Try brigding the backlight fuse then try agian, if it doesnt work (the MMS light) then make sure the WiFi board is in place properly, no dust on the contacts and make sure its the right Wifi Board, just incase you got it mixed up

Yes the wifi board does matter. It has to match the motherboar for it to function properly. I'd suggest switching them back.
