Title: Trouble w/ PS3 controller
Post by: SN!P3R on February 06, 2009, 04:36:26 PM: I took apart my PS3's SIXAXIS controller to change the leds to white. I swapped it, but now when i try and turn the controller on , it wont turn on and connect to my PS3. When i plug it into my computers UBS port, the leds flash. I also removed the Rumble motors, if thats of any importance. anyone know whats up with it?

he meant to say he took apart his dualshock and didn't put back in the rumble

Oh whoops lol i forgot to mention that. I solved the problem, It turns out i forgot the replace that soft thing that goes behind the flex cable that makes contact w/ the controller motherboard, so it wasnt making contact. Put it back in, now its working like a champ.
