Title: Few questions before I start modding

Hi guys! I'm back for a very long time, Im going to mod a psp 200 slim now with jewel, I have a couple of questions:

• What voltage does the backlight of the PSP have (Planning to put the backlight of the LCD at the UMD door
• Is it safe to use a copper wire? (The very thin ones? It is somewat plated with something i do not know so it protects the circuit)
• Is there any 3v pinout on the slim? If not, what resistors do I need for a 5 white leds?

no, do not use magnet wire.

I mean, the backlight. My LCD broke so i took it out and had an idea to reuse the backlight of the LCD. How much voltage does it need to run?

May I also ask if SMD fuses are safe so that if i shorted out something, my MOBO is safe?

I would not use sad resistor free formed in side the psp. You can but it may give you headache in the long run. I use 1/8w through hole resistors and a small piece of heat shrink tubing.
