Views: 5400 | Comments: 8 Today, I received an eMail from Amazon, introducing me to the new Kindle line. Being a college student, with mechanic fingers I’ve adored my Kindle DX for several years; however, the new Kindle Fire may have rekindled the fire in my heart for color eReaders. Sorry for the pun, I could not resist. The Kindle Fire from Amazon is available for preorder now for a price of $199 and will be released on November 15th. Although the new Kindle Fire is more tablet than a simple eReader. The device features an ultra durable screen. Amazon released information about the device saying that the “Kindle Fire display is chemically strengthened to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic, making it extra durable and resistant to accidental bumps and scrapes." The high durability screen protects the device’s seven-inch high resolution touch screen. ... September 27, 2011, 03:25:31 PM by Modded Matt | Views: 11876 | Comments: 37

Views: 5290 | Comments: 12 The title speaks for its self, is 3d dying in games? We are getting so close to a new year and it seems that 3D gaming hasn't really got a lot of attention as it should get this year (excluding out new member of 3D games). Which comes to thought of, are company's wasting money on 3D games and consoles, such as the 3Ds? Speaking of the 3Ds. Did you guys know that 1600 gamers took a survey for Interpret LLC and they found out that 28 percent of respondents dislike the 3D feature of the 3DS. Only 22 percent thought the 3D feature enhanced gameplay while 13 percent prefer to play with the 3D option turned off entirely. Now 3d in gaming isn't really a bad thing is my personal opinion, Its just a new and a exciting way to bring a new experience to a verity of people around the world or another way to cause you nausea and dizziness problems. Either way, the only ones that can truly decide if 3d gaming has come to a end is you. Do you really think that 3d games have come to a end or is it something that need too be improve in the years to come? You choose. Views: 31649 | Comments: 19 Physicists at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), the world's largest physics lab, said Thursday they have measured a special particle called neutrinos traveling faster than light. That's something that violates Einstein's 1905 special theory of relativity. The famous E = M C2 equation says it just doesn't happen. The data was measured in a particle detector named Oscillation Project with Emulsion tRacking Apparatus (OPERA). Lurking in Italy’s subterranean Gran Sasso National Laboratory, "OPERA" attempts to detect neutrinos fired from the European particle physics laboratory, CERN through the earth! As the particles hardly interact at all with "normal" matter, neutrinos can fly right through the ground with few lost. As the neutrinos travel they will hit an atom at the right point and bounce off and lose energy. The detector at OPERA is built from gold detectors designed to sense when a neutrino hits the nucleus of a gold atom, when a gold atom is struck the computer senses a change in electrical conductance. [1] [2] Inside of the OPERA detector. Each detector is covered in Gold Foil
