Yeah. Just the 3000 has an extra hole for where the Microphone is.

Nope the face plate is no the same at the botom since the new home,select.+,-, bar is round on the 3000 compared tho the one on the 2000 that its flat on top and round a the botom but i would look like a 2000 but i would look nice but hopefully dx starts making new cases for the psp 3000

But i  bet if you put buttons to fit that faceplate it would work fine but i would have to have a closer look.

I would think CM would be making some they did it first for the Phat one, Slim one, add the 3000 and

You could use either way, just need a hole for mic

But the 3000 homebuttons are circle shape, not half a circle

if you had the homebar buttond for a 3000 and the faceplate then it should fit. from what i've seen there pretty much the same build.
