**Long Pause**........Yup, thats better than balloons
hey are your wireing it to your original speakers or to an amp? (dont shout at me if i got this wrong its 9:30 and ive been awake for like 22 hours
I'm wiring the small speaker to my original speakers. I'll do some experimenting tonight and post back results.
I always wanted to know if that works. I'll be interested to see your results.
yeah man it does work but it can get a little distorted (or that might be my speaker)
oh dam that's annoying. I hope it is just your speaker ^^
This speaker is really really good. http://mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=254-PS608-ROvirtualkey12800000virtualkey254-PS608-ROIt's thin enough to fit in the slim too.
Nice find. I mite want to use that in a later mod. Thanks
I bought 5 and kept one for myself then sold the rest for $10 each installed. I'm going to order 5 more and 5 bigger ones that only fit in the phat this weekend so i can sell them.
If you do just hook both + and - of the internal speakers to the new one, you may want to consider this: place a diode on the + and - that leads to one of them. This will still allow the internal speakers to be stereo while having both connected to the new speaker.
I get my speakers from singing birthday cards. If I could find them on the net I will post a linkIt says:CPC-18Ω 0.5W
