Trigger Mod doesnt work
« on: January 17, 2008, 06:28:49 PM »
I did the trigger mod exactly how the diagram shows. I soldered the positive to the part where u scratch the paint off and the negative to the end of the resistor on the powerboard. When I turn on the psp, the lights do not turn on. The psp turns on fine. What did i do wrong?

Are you sure you're LEDs are the right way around?

Yea. Im pretty sure i have them the right way.....  positive [|-] negative
EDIT: NVM I just took out the resistor and now it works  .
I think my resistors are wrong. accidently bought 10 ohm SMD resistor.

I read that you can use without resistors. It worked then stopped working so i gave up. I took it out and now the power and charge LED doesnt work. What happened?

i had thesame problem
u'll have to replace the ribbon cable from the motherboard to the powerboard

To all of you crying about lag and kicks, remember… when Jesus died, took him 3 days to respawn. Now THAT is lag.

yeah you can use blue leds w/o resistors, but what i meant was, according to your previous post, that 10 ohm resistors are the right ones you need to use, if you use them
