i was just thinking (it being winter-een-mass and all) how cool it would be to have a acid mods convention. rent out a hotel and have gaming tournaments, lan games, and even moding stations. i know its not that realistic with our members being as young and as far flung to the corners of the earth as we are, but maybe some day we will all be able to unite under the AM flag and party and game our  :censored: off. and who knows it could happen and if it did maybe it could evolve in to a annual thing

so yeah thats my future dream for AM whats yours

I was thinking either AM hotel where you come chat about modding and have a game fest while our specialists mod for you =P

ORRR turn acidmdos into a business with our own building and such, real life forum basically everythign here on AM could be offerd on a professional level with actually careers ...but thats more of a dream =[

the biggest issue is travel. some member are to far away, and some are to young. i don't see this ever hapining any time soon, but maybe some day when acid mods is all grown up (figuratively)

i see what ur saying tec, it would have to be really thouroughly planned, maybe start with a staff convention jsut so we all get to know each toher a bit better so we can work better together.

The introduce the anyone on acidmods can come, slap on an admission fee and its all worth it.

Remember its a family site so the younger kids can bring their families to show them what they do in their spare tme.

All the parents will get to meet cyber and AM will grow, GROW LIKE TIS NWEVER GROWN BEFORE!!!!!!! =P

Hmmm, Admission Fees.
Good Idea, But How Many People Would Actually Continue To Join? You Would Have To Have It As Nothing Is Viewable To Non AM Members To get People Joining.
But If It Did Work Out, It Is The Perfect Solution To Site Money Problems... Paying For Site time, Conventions Etc.
Also, AM Could Charge Some Sort Of Fee To Put An Item Up In The Auction Section. Like eBay Does...

you can use a checking account. but short of not having a credit card you should get a paypall. there the most secure and most sites will allow you to use them instead of using a credit card witch i like cuz id rather pay in paypall than give out my #'s


but back on topic

a convention could raise lots of money for the site,

and paying for a membership is not the way to go because we have to may younger users who dont have access to credit cards so there is no way for them to pay to be able to join
