Stereo sound reactive mod

Hi there for the stereo led mod where are the solder points for the left speaker? If someone could psot a pic that+ would be great

the soldering points are just those blobs of solder the gray wire is positive and the black is negative

Sorry being dumb can find the solder points for the right speaker on the mobo but none for the left, do you solder the wires coming from the amp straght to the left speaker?

Yeh Soldering Dicectly to the speakers seams the be the best way as well it worked for me

ok i might do this mod too so for the r button i connect it to the right speaker and the l button to the left speaker? do i need a resistor? :dntknw: sorry for hi-jacking your thread :rofl:  :boxed: i have alot of red and blue 3mm leds and resistors :tup:

for one those leds are way to big...you need 0603 smt leds...and you are correct on how to solder.However if you ever noticed how different sounds and beats come out of both speakers, that is how the leds will be if you solder to both speakers and not just one.But in my opinion I think that it is easyer to solder to both speakers...and about the resistors...you onley need to use them if you are going to use any color other than true blue.

I myself just comleated this mod today..and I soldered to both speakers, and it looks great :tup:

are the leds always on with the lm386? and are they always on if u wire them directly to the speakers?

3mm is way to big!

how is it too big :dntknw: i ordered a clear faceplate so i can put the led where i have room and it will still look good :#1:

3mm leds are definatly not too big, i know becoz i have use them in triggers before. you should solder directly onto the speakers, if u follow the grey and black wires to the speaker just heat up the solder there and solder ur wires in.
if u wired them directly to speakers the brightness will depend on waht level ur speakers are on.
Lots of gaming stuff but too lazy to mention =]
