Just use the Squares in the motherboard, they work perfectly as grounds.

ground squares are all gold and have a small square hole in them, a square in a square

look at your bottom screen ribbon connector, not look to the right of it, do you see one?

hope that helps, you  can also use the metal shielding on the power switch and trigger buttons

Alright ppl knock it off lol. I'm no admin/mod, but I know when this should stop already. If anyone has personal issues with another person, then take it outside in back of a wendy's and use w/e you have to, but in here, we just talk, eat, sleep, and poop DS, understand? Anyway.

On topic: Isn't the DS' top screen considered a ground point, or is that a bad one that can short your ds out? Just want to get a rumor cleared out. Also using your finger as a ground works, which is a bad thing, because if you are touching the cable connected to the ground "you think that works", then it will work no matter what, but then if you put everything back together and see that the DS doesn't turn on, you'll find out why soon enough.
