any apps that actually work on 1.1.4 (installer)?
cuz I keep getting
"1.1.3 is needed"
or
"package download failed"

Btw I just re-jailbroke today using ziphone

Idk what's up, even BSD subsystems won't download either
I just get the "package d/l failed"

fixed it, I found out I was using the 1.1.3 installer for 1.1.4 so I patched it through a source I found

Ok, i tried downloading the "perl runtime" app
it finished downloading
but never finished installing
so now its there just I cant uninstall it
9.4mb wasted
and also
whenever I try downloading something no it'll finish downloading but once it goes to installing it'll just stop and go to home screen (springboard)
last time it got like this the same way so I just restored my iPod
but this time I have ~6gb more of stuff that I dont feel like restoring again
any ideas?

You got the 1.1.3 app patch for 1.1.4 right? Try that. When I first went to 1.1.4 I had been getting this problem, and on 1.1.3. Not sure what to do, I did something and it worked...when I get home from school I'll look into it for you, but until then just deal without 3rd party apps :P

btw, does your Mail work for you on 1.1.4? Mine just crashes and does nothing..

yeah i guess so, or just do what i did last time, restore it, then re-re-jailbreak

and yes my mail does work for me on 1.1.4, i d/led the package off of the installer and it all works w/o nany issues, i tried it on my aol email last night
