DIY Wii Light Gun Mod

This is my Wii Light Gun that i created after looking at Cyberpyrot's NES gun which i thought was so cool.... but as you can see i didn't want to modify the whole wiimote.
So as i thought about what i was going to do i decided to make a detachable cable that goes through the battery compartment and connect to the gun. And if your wondering the cover can still close with the cable in it..

as i am going to finish this i have decided to paint it white and use the clear wii grip to keep it in place
